Although an Industrial Engineer by formal education, Charles found vocational fulfillment in the Commercial Real Estate Brokerage and Commercial Mortgage fields.

Prior to getting his real estate license in 1970 and founding his own Commercial Real Estate Brokerage and Commercial Mortgage business in 1976, Charles held various managerial positions with major banks in the states of Illinois and Ohio where he got an extensive education and practical experience in mainframe computers as a programmer and systems analyst.
 
Originally an approved MCE Instructor by the State of Ohio and subsequently by the State of Texas, Charles has been teaching commercial real estate classes since 1986.  He is the author of several Real Estate and Computer/Internet courses and workshops.

Charles has been teaching in Dallas since his association in 1990 with Nanci's original school, “Nanci Hawes Real Estate School” subsequently with "Leonard-Hawes Real Estate School" and now with "Legends Real Estate School" and "DFW Real Estate Academy."
 
Charles’ uninterrupted interest and continued involvement in computer sciences combined with his extensive knowledge of investment real estate and practical experience are manifested in the authoring of his course materials.  Armed with a strong background in multifamily financing, Charles has developed a one page computerized sensitivity Investment Analysis which he offers free to all students who attend his investment classes. 

Charles is also associated with Taylor Realty Associates, LLC.  He is the President of the Commercial Division, he is a member of the Board of Directors and the Administrator of the Taylor Realty Children's Charities Fund.
